Pong-Pang Escape   Description Pong Pang escape is a community tourism project in Thakat Nuea Subdistrict Municipality, Lamphun Province which was first launched in the winter of 2021. This tourist area is open to tourists only in winter which consists of 3 Karen community areas on the mountain range including 1. Pha Dan 2. Mae Sa-Ngae and 3. Pong Phang, which are all communities in Doi Pha Maung wildlife sanctuary.  The residence of Karen tribes more than 99% is in a small village surrounded by unseen nature paths and even beautiful streams cut through the village. You will have achance to feel the simple way of life of the Karen community. Most of the people in the community are Karen and there are Christian, Buddhist and animist religions.   Tour Plan Day 1 10.00 AM. Meet at Tha Kat Nuea Subdistrict Municipality. Then register and listen the story for  prepare before visit at 3 communities. 11.00 AM. Arrive at Ban Mae Sa Ngae. Relax at community shop, the tree house. 12.00 PM. Eat local food in the village. 01.00 PM.. Visit Rice field on hill, Ban Mae Sa Ngae Coffee Tree and sip freshly brewed coffee. 02.00  PM. Go to Ban Pong Pang. 02.30 PM.. Check-in to the homestay and leisure time. 03.30 PM.. Visit the village around Huai Mae Khai and Uncle Chan House with local guide. 05.00 PM.. Have dinner then congregate around the campfire and watching stars in the night sky.  (night 1) Day 2 07.00 AM See the misty view in front of the house. 07.30 AM Have breakfast.  08.30 AM Visit Doi Nok to see the panoramic view and come down to enjoy the cool breeze by the stream. 09.30 AM Walk to Pha Lat Waterfall. (1 hour walk) 11.00  AM Have lunch with fried pork sticky rice at Pha Lad Waterfall. 01.00  PM Come back to pack the bags and go to Pha Dan village. 02.00  PM. Arrive at Pha Dan village and keep the luggage at the camping area. 02.30  PM. A local guide takes us sightseeing the village and drinking coffee by the rice terraces. 04.00  PM. Relaxing, swimming along Huay Mae Kanad and painting the shirts with natural colors.  06.00  PM. Have a grilled pork dinner watching stars at the tent. (night 2) Day 3 7.00 AM. Wake up early to see the fog view and have breakfast that is local food. 8.30  AM. Walk along the creek to the viewpoint. 10.00 AM. Pack the bag to go back to Tha Kat Nuea Subdistrict Municipality.

Day 1

11.00 AM. Arrive at Ban Mae Sa Ngae. Relax at community shop, the tree house.

12.00 PM. Eat local food in the village.

02.00  PM. Go to Ban Pong Pang.
