On Tai is surrounded by mountains and famous for its ‘Doi Mon Jing’, a beautiful mountain which is also known as Mt. Fuji of On Tai.   Tour Plan Day 1 10.00 AM Arrive at ‘Nong Praya Prom’, a check-in point at On Tai Community. Enjoy a morning view and sip a cup of coffee or any drinks you like at Need Cafe. Then, meet your local guide who will accompany you to experience local activities during the trip.  10.30 AM  Check into the homestay. Meet homestay hosts and enjoy your free time.  11.30 AM  Have lunch at ‘Cham Toh Chom Toong’. The signature dish is a giant bowl of noodles with mixed toppings served in large portion that is enough for 6-7 persons. Another highlight of the place is the great view of rice fields which is perfect for capturing beautiful shots.  01.00 PM  Visit ‘Monsiri’, a famous mulberry farm in Chiang Mai. Take some nice photos at the mulberry tunnel and enjoy mulberry products such as jam, blended juice, dried mulberries and healthy tea.  02.00 PM  Learn folk wisdom in producing hand-woven cotton at Fah Mai Handloom and tie-dyeing fabric with natural dyes. Then, let’s create natural tie-dye work in your own style!  03.00 PM  Visit On Tai Farm, an organic farm where you can pick up fresh ingredients and cook them with a local chef to create tasty seasonal local dishes.  06.00 PM  Have dinner at On Tai Farm.  Day 2 06.00 AM Wake up early and go to Chiang Saen Temple to offer food to the Buddhist monks. Then, have breakfast at the homestay before getting ready for today’s activities.  09.30 AM  Visit a historical temple ‘Wat Pa Tueng’ (Luang Pu Lah Ta Tip) to pay respect to ‘Phra Fon Saen Ha’, the sacred Buddha statue in On Tai and the body of Luang Pu Lah Ta Tip, a Buddhist monk who was revered by many Buddhists in Thailand. Then, let’s visit San Kamphaeng Ware Museum to see a collection of Chiang San Temple antique wares.   12.00 PM  Have lunch.  01.00 PM Weave a ‘Pla Tapian’ or a Thai-style fish mobile and then learn how to make ‘Kanom Kee Maew’, a local snack of On Tai.  04.00 PM Enjoy a beautiful view at Huay Lan Reservoir.  06.00 PM Have dinner.  07.00 PM  Visit Mae Pha Han Reservoir to feel a cool breeze and watch a night sky full of stars and nebulae.  Day 3 05.30 AM Let’s take a walk in the morning and watch the sunrise at the Mae Pha Han reservoir before having breakfast at the homestay.  08.00 AM Enjoy hot spring onsen which is good for your muscles and helps you sleep better.  11.00 AM See Lanna artists’ work of art at Chiang Mai Art Museum.

Day 1

10.00 AM

Arrive at ‘Nong Praya Prom’, a check-in point at On Tai Community. Enjoy a morning view and sip a cup of coffee or any drinks you like at Need Cafe. Then, meet your local guide who will accompany you to experience local activities during the trip.
