The Bang Kor Bua Community, located in the Phra Pradaeng District of Samut Prakan
Province, is intimately connected to the river and embraces the natural environment.
The area was predominantly flat and characterized by the abundant growth of lotus
flowers in the Lam Pradong swamps, leading to its nickname "Bang Kor Bua" (Bua
meaning Lotus). The surroundings are filled with lush trees, creating a scenic journey.
Recognizing its natural beauty, the community has developed the area into a tourist
attraction, allowing visitors to explore and study the diverse flora and fauna along the
canal.
