Arrive at Ban Dong village. Learn the history and local culture of Lawa through the village’s landmark such as the shrine and Sao Sa Gang. Learn about the local Lawa traditional clothes. See fleece fabric weaving. See agricultural plots in Royal Project Foundation Mae La Noi.
Help the local ladies cook local dishes for dinner. Dinner with the special dish ‘Sa Beuak’, a spicy Lawa dish of boiled pork belly seasoned with chillies, lime and fragrant vegetables. Free time.
See the marvel of rice field terrace, one of Lawa’s agricultural wisdom, and experience how Lawa people live in harmony with nature. Travel to Ban Pa Pae.
Visit Thailand’s first rice bank and enjoy the merry Pa Pae villagers’ merry gathering for rice harvesting help harvesting rice. Visit teak wood church, Pa Pae’s landmark and learn to weave fabric dyed with natural pigments. Leave the village and journey safely home.
