Experience the life in coastal fishing villages of Southern Taiwan. While walking in the parks and being surrounded by nature, our guides will introduce you to the coastal ecological systems. For lunch, fresh seafood will be served directly from the fishing port. The afternoon tour will take you to the Kezailiao Fish Market, the local area that encompasses Taiwan’s traditional fishing industry and the perfect place to experience the beauty of the fishing village. The district has rich biodiversity and humanities-related industries, which can allow the tourists to experience the impression of “falling in love with Kezailiao.”

Day One
Meet at THSR Zuoying Station (Rainbow Market) at 8:30 a.m. Yuan-Jong Port wetland ecosystem observations: Explore the coastal Mangrove ecosystem of Southern Taiwan and observe wetland birds. Take a stroll around the Tadishan natural park and its mud volcano landscape (This is a hiking trip for about 1 hr, please take your health conditions into consideration).
Have lunch at the Tianmama Restaurant with the authentic taste of fishing villages. Tour the Kezailiao Fish Market which is the first HACCP market in Taiwan. Make a tiny fishing basket. Tour ice-making plant. Taste the popsicle with fish and shrimp flavor. Tour will end at about 4:30 p.m.
