Day One
07.45 a.m. Meeting point at MRT Chatuchak Exit 4. 8.00 a.m. Travel to Ratchaburi Province. 10.00 a.m. Learn about 1Rai Kae Chon to understand the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy in agriculture. Join activities at each station. (The activities could be changed.) ● How to raise pigs in deep pits ● How to raise chickens and ducks ● How to raise fish in ponds ● How to raise frogs in recycled tires ● How to grow organic vegetables ● How to make organic fertilizer and vermicompost 12.00 p.m. Have lunch.
1.00 p.m. Travel to Khao Ngoo Rock Park. 2.45 p.m. Relax in the park. The site was once a quarry for limestone. 4.00 p.m. Check into the hotel and enjoy leisure time.
6.00 p.m. Have dinner.
Day Two
8.00 a.m. Have breakfast. 9.00 a.m. Travel to Baan Saladin, a sufficiency economy village in Nakhon Pathom Province. 10.00 a.m. Take a boat to ride into a lotus pond. Collect lotus flowers and learn how to fold them. 11.30 a.m. Continue the boat ride to Uncle Boonlert’s fruit farm. Enjoy lunch and fresh fruits. Hop on a farming tractor around the farm and paddy fields.
1.30 p.m. Learn how to make crispy rice, a very popular food of Baan Saladin. 2.15 p.m. Travel back to Bangkok. 3.30 p.m. Arrive in Bangkok.
