Let’s begin with the Pluak Daeng Royal Development Study Center where you will get exposed to freshwater fish species and learn how the Royal Project has improved local farmers’ lives.
Then, it’s time to visit Prasae, a small fishing village on the banks of Prasae River which back in the day was one of the busiest ports in Thailand. At Prasae, you will see the beauty of nature and experience a simple way of life.

Enjoy a boat ride through mangrove forests
Worship and pray to the statue of Luang Phor Sothorn, the highly revered Buddhist monk
08.45 a.m. Meeting point at MRT ChatuchakExit 4.
09.00 a.m. Leave Bangkok for Rayong Province.
11.30 a.m. Have lunch in Rayong.
12.30 p.m. Travel to the Pluak Daeng Royal Development Study Center.
1.00 p.m. Learn about freshwater fish species and how the center improves the quality of local farmers’ lives. Visit different stations such as tilapia sex reversal, egg collecting and animal feeding.
3.00 p.m. Travel to Prasae Community.
4.30 p.m. Walk on the raised wooden boardwalk through the mangrove forests to learn about mangrove ecology.
5.00 p.m. Visit HTMS Prasae Memorial to see a retired frigate.
5.45 p.m. Check into homestay. Enjoy leisure time.
7.00 p.m. Have dinner and enjoy dancing with local elders.
7.30 a.m. Have breakfast.
8.30 a.m. Enjoy digging clams in a local way.
10.30 a.m. Take a shower at the homestay and check out.
11.30 a.m. Get on ‘Sam Lor’ or a signature three-wheeled motorcycle to explore the riverfront village.
● See well-preserved old wooden houses in the community.
● Visit the community museum to see Prasae in the old days.
12.30 p.m. Try making ‘Jang Lon’ or grilled minced fish with curry paste, one of the best street foods in Rayong. Enjoy Jang Lon and a lot of tasty dishes for lunch.
2.00 p.m. Learn how Khlu tea, the most popular tea in Ryong Province, is processed. Try making Khlu tea by yourself.
3.00 p.m. Go back to the homestay. Enjoy leisure time.
4.30 p.m. Take a boat trip down the river through the mangrove forest and then walk to ‘Tung Prong Thong’ or the Golden Mangrove Forest.
6.00 p.m. Have dinner.
7.00 p.m. Goodnight.
6.30 a.m. Visit the Morning Market.
8.30 a.m. Have breakfast and take rest at your leisure time.
11.00 a.m. Pack your bags and check out. Say goodbye and travel to Chachoengsao Province.
12.00 p.m. Have lunch at a restaurant.
1.00 p.m. Travel to Wat Sothorn Wararam Woraviharn, the city’s most famous temple. Worship and pray to the statue of Luang Phor Sothorn.
2.30 p.m. Travel back to Bangkok.
4.30 p.m. Arrive in Bangkok.
