1.00 p.m. Travel to Kaset Vichaya Project Operation. 1.30 p.m. Visit Kaset Vichaya Project Operation to learn about land planning and water resource management for sustainability. ● Learn about the Royal Initiatives. ● Visit an herb garden. 3.00 p.m. Travel to Chiang Mai to visit Baan Rai Kong Khing, a small health-oriented village with traditional health practices. 4.00 p.m. Enjoy leisure time at homestay. Ride a bike around the village. Experience Thai herbal compress massage. Learn how to make a Thai herbal compress ball. Relax with Thai massage by local villager (Price is not included).
6.00 p.m. Have dinner.
8.00 a.m. Have breakfast. Relax in an herb garden and learn how to fold pandan leaves into roses. 10.00 a.m. Visit Wat Ton Gwen, one of the most ancient temples in the city. 11.00 a.m. Say Good Bye to Community. Travel to Lamphun Province. 12.00 a.m. Have lunch.
1.00 p.m. Visit Wat Phra That Hariphunchai, a very old Buddhist temple built in the 11th century. The Buddha relics in the stupa are commonly worshipped among those whose birth year is of the Rooster. Then, visit Wat Chamthewi, another ancient temple in the city. The ashes of Queen Chamthewi are enshrined in the stupa. 3.00 p.m. Travel back to Chiang Mai. Visit the Waroros Market. Enjoy shopping for some famous local foods such as Northern Thai sausage and pork snack. 4.00 p.m. Travel back.
